A Tribute to Tony Bennett with Paul King and the Paul Keller Jazz Trio
Join conductor Adam C. Riccinto and the Ypsilanti Symphony Orchestra on February 13 as the orchestra continues its return to the stage as part of it's "Welcome Back" season and welcomes some special guest artists in an exciting and jazzy program for all ages.
Well-known Detroit jazz vocalist Paul King joins Maestro Adam Riccinto and the Ypsilanti Symphony Orchestra for a "Tribute To Tony Bennett," one of America’s most beloved crooners of popular song. Paul King will put his own heartfelt and loving spin on a variety of familiar songs associated with Tony Bennett, including Bennett’s biggest hit "I Left My Heart in San Francisco." Mr. King will be expertly accompanied by YSO’s friend and frequent collaborator, Paul Keller and his jazz trio, including Paul Keller on string bass, Adam Mosley on piano, and David Alvarez on drums.
The family-friendly program will be held at the Lincoln High School Performing Arts Center at 7425 Willis Rd, Ypsilanti, MI 48197 on Sunday, February 13 at 3:30 p.m. Tickets ($12 for adults, $6 for students/seniors, and $30 family of 2 adults and 2+ kids) will be available online through a2tix and at the door.
