Growing Hope Programs
All donations directly fund Growing Hope’s programming, which only happens with your support. Below is a small overview of our main services that are made possible through your generous heart.
Contribution to Growing Hope supports a community system that provides free, freshly grown food from our 1.5-acre Urban Farm in the heart of Ypsilanti via our Produce Cart and You-Pick Garden area; free seedlings and soil to home and community gardeners; garden beds, soil and plants to senior citizens and low-income families to grow their own food; gardening and nutritional education for all ages; a paid teen internship program that teaches not only where food comes from but how to grow, harvest, and prepare it, along with life long skills in entrepreneurship and leadership; help small emerging home-based businesses within our commercial, licensed kitchen; and last but not least, we run and operate the Ypsilanti Online and in-person Farmers Market by connecting farmers and shoppers to fresh, locally grown food.
