VAE celebrates the season with music ranging from the Baroque to contemporary in texts that emphasize a call to honor generations past and future. From the eight-part Magnificat of Heinrich Schutz, to the sparkling Magnificat of Isabella Leonarda, to American Kedusha, arranged by Alice Parker, to settings of L'Dor Vador (generations to generations), plus seasonal carols and more, this concert brings out all the revelry, ritual, and reflection we summon at this time of year, as we sing to those both inside and outside the hall.
