We celebrate the season with all things French, featuring Charpentier's Messe de Minuit (Midnight Mass) - a delightful and marvelously-crafted work that interweaves French folk songs in a liturgical setting - and Poulenc's Quatre Motets pour le temps de Noël, by turns haunting and jubilant. The concert will also include other French carols and folk songs, including settings of French Sephardic melodies.
