Celebrating the 10th anniversary of Akshara, Rasa Festival 2026 is a landmark event curated by Sreyashi Dey. This special festival presents a vibrant bouquet of Indian classical dance, bringing together five of Michigan's distinguished dance groups for an inspiring celebration of India's rich artistic heritage.

This evening will be a dazzling showcase of India's rich classical dance traditions. Acclaimed Odissi dancer Sreyashi Dey will premiere a brand-new work inspired by the poetry and music of Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore. The festival will also feature Asha Subramanian performing Mohiniyattam, Sandhya Sree Atmakuri presenting Kuchipudi, Asa Willoughby performing Kathak, and Dhanya Vani Rao presenting Bharatanatyam, along with their dance groups.
