Curling Fest in Chelsea, Michigan
Curling Fest 2019 is a 2-day event featuring a tournament on Saturday, February 9 for both experienced and novice competitors, and learn-to-curl ice time February 10, 2018. Spectators are welcome to come and watch the bonspiel (term for curling tournament) free of charge.
Curling Fest has bonfires to warm your toes, hot drinks to warm your your spirit, music, food, beer, cocktails and more.

Tournament Details
$120 per team of 4, begins at 9 a.m. Tournament winners receive great prizes, including an engraved bottle from Ugly Dog Distillery.
Where: 1180 S. Main Street, Chelsea Michigan, at Chelsea Lanes
Age Requirements: Competitors must be at least 12 years old.
All competitors are guaranteed two matches.
Register as a team of four.
Learn to Curl
Register for a 1-hour drop-in session on Friday, February 8 or Sunday, February 10.
Learn from curling coaches and play a scrimmage game during the 1-hour sessions.
Cost: $10 per person
Stones, brooms, and all equipment provided for tournament and learn to curls.

The Fine Print
In case of warm weather, the competition will convert to a fowling tournament using the same team structure. Fowling is fun and easy- google if you aren't sure what it is. No refunds offered after January 25, 2019. Refunds not given for weather-related conditions or conversion to fowling tournament.
