The esteemed Randazzo Dance Company and the celebrated Sole Full of Rhythm tap dance ensemble are collaborating on a special show this season. The 1,300-seat Power Center for the Performing arts provides a versatile and sophisticated setting for these beautiful pieces. The Power Center stage is the perfect backdrop for this collection of dance forms including ballet, tap, jazz and modern. The program includes “Etudes” directed by Roya Panahi as well as a commissioned piece by Boston Ballet’s pre-professional program instructor, Kathleen Mitchell. This piece will be set to music by Giovanni Sollomi. And finally, a collaboration between Sole Full of Rhythm, artistic director Sara Randazzo, and Randazzo Dance Company will introduce original choreography for an exciting piece titled “The Roe Randazzo Project” featuring the music of award-winning jazz pianist Rick Roe and his trio performed live. Tickets are $20, general seating.
Parking is available in the Fletcher Street lot attached to The Power Center. Special Event parking is $5 cash at the door.
