Imaginimals - Imaginimals is an interactive play about using your imagination to create and play with shapes, animals, and music. Target age: 0-5.

Spinning Dot Theatre, launched in 2014, creates meaningful international theatre for kids and their families. For everyone, really. Through inventive storytelling often with music, movement, shadow puppets, professional actors, and more, they invite their audiences to think about our world. 

Jenny Koppera (Spinning Dot Artistic Director) believes, “Global stories make the world feel bigger and smaller at the same time.And our world needs that right now – especially young people.”

Spinning Dot currently operates on multiple levels including an Adult Repertory Company that performs for youth and families, a Teen Apprentice Company that focuses on Theatre for Social Justice, a Youth Company that introduces young artists to international works and the process of creating performances, and global theatre summer camp experiences!

In 2019, a new project is ‘Spinning Off’ of Spinning Dot Theatre – a whole new season of shows for small folks, 0-5 years old, and their families! Baby Theatre is prevalent and growing nationally and internationally and Spinning Dot Theatre is excited to bring this international trend to our Michigan communities! These small form productions make theatre comfortable and fun for families with pre-show and post-show activities, flexible seating and short running times. These productions explore the world as young folks see it through sensory discovery and hope to inspire creativity that lasts long after the performances.
