Please join us on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 7:00 PM as the students of the Chelsea School District create an evening of toe-tapping Celtic music that will keep you clapping a smiling all evening long.
First up, you see the Beach Middle School Fiddle Club directed by Nathan Peters.
Then come the high school students of the Chelsea House Orchestra (CHO) led by our new High School Orchestra Director Phil Sylvester and Assistant Director (and CHO Alum) Steve Lesko.
Proceeds from CHO’s Annual Hometown Show ticket sales and donations go directly to the group for equipment costs, travel expenses, and other educational opportunities for the students.
Following the show, the audience is invited to enjoy the afterglow reception in the Commons.
Chelsea House Orchestra (CHO) is a Celtic music group comprised of students from Chelsea High School. CHO has been in-demand for over 20 years at festivals and events throughout the Midwest, including the Chicago Scots Highland Games, Thunderbay Maritime Festival, Indiana State Fair, Alma Highland Games (MI), and Edinboro Highland Games (PA). CHO’s music features lively Scottish and Irish traditions and Celtic renditions of American folk songs, with a little Hungarian-inspired music and rock and roll thrown in for kicks.
Tickets for the 2019 Hometown Show are $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors. Tickets are available online and will also be available at the door. Group tickets may be reserved by emailing [email protected]
