The festival runs 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15 and 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16 at St. Vladimir Orthodox Church, 9900 Jackson Road in Dexter. Admission is free and parking is free.
Immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of Russia and Ukraine at the sixth annual Russian Festival. The two-day event opens with a Russian Bell Ringing ceremony and offers activities for the entire family, from a chicken farm petting zoo and to an infused vodka tasting contest for those aged 21 and up.
Eat authentic Slavic food under the big tent while watching musicians and folk dancers perform on the stage in bright dresses and flowing ribbons, with flowers everywhere.
